Recipes from cookbooks that I have tried. You may request recipes on the request page but please note I cannot guarantee fulfillment of all requests. However, the more people request a recipe, the more likely it may happen.

Poor college graduate who grew up picky eating plain food and junk, now expanding her tastes buds and eating so much more.

I try out restaurants that look interesting and at least decently clean. Yelp is my main restaurant search engine. I have interests mainly in places where I can get a complete meal for $50 or less, including 9% tax and 18% tip. (Occasionally I will go over that price limit..you know for special occasions.) Sometimes if I get special coupons or offers though I would dine in an expensive place for no special reason other than the discount.

For now, I mostly review restaurants from Queens and Manhattan. Brooklyn will slowly make its way, too. Occasionally I'll have stuff internationaly, nationwide, and stuff from Staten Island, Long Island and the Bronx.

I will rate restaurants on a scale of 1-7, 4 being the passing grade of I don't mind eating there again if I'm in the area or if someone had a party there, 5 and 6 being very good, and 7 being perfect in the sense that I wish I can dine there everyday.

I will also soon be posting recipes that I try from the numerous cookbooks I possessed.
